Comment: Tonight at the Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, George Michael is playing the last show in his series of three 'exclusive, one-off shows'. George puts on an energetic show, which is very commendable since he clearly doesn't seem to be quite his usual self tonight. He sounds out of breath and at times also a bit croaky. Still his vocals remain distinctive and powerful throughout the evening.

George dedicates 'You Have Been Loved' to Greg and towards the end of the song he swivels around on his chair and looks up at the screen behind him with images playing and then breaks down in tears.

It is a memorable night, and not just because George calls out to "Sydney" three times in front of 47000 Melbournians. George Michael tells the audience in Melbourne "you are definitely the last show" - probably referring to the fact he keeps on playing 'last' stadium shows.

George mainly plays to the audience in the runway section. Before 'An Easier Affair' he launches a vitriolic attack on Rupert Murdoch. Next is a brilliant performance of 'One More Try'.

George gets everyone up and moving, he is amazing. At the end of Careless Whisper he says, "I dont know when I'm coming back but this is one fucking amazing memory to take with me!"
