The Big Issue has pillaged its archive to make a series of explosive interviews with George Michael available to download exclusively via it's website.

The exclusive interviews, conducted between 1996-2009, offer a fascinating insight into the life of the reclusive and often controversial singer, at a time when he is once again in the full glare of the media spotlight.

George first spoke to The Big Issue when he was riding high on the success of his Number One album Older. And it was to The Big Issue he returned in 2004 following his arrest for indecency in a Los Angeles public toilet.

His regard for the brand of independent journalism favoured by The Big Issue remained strong over the years, with further exclusive interviews published in 2006 and 2009.
